Sequential and Combination Timer TK-415 (Process Control Timer)
Novatek Electro India’s TK-415 is a microprocessor-based, 15-channel programmable timer designed for heavy-duty industrial automation. Unlike standard timers that perform a single repetitive task, the TK-415 is a hybrid device that can act as either a sequential sequence controller or a complex combination logic timer.
How It Works
The TK-415 operates by controlling 15 potential-free relay outputs based on a user-defined program. It uses a microprocessor to execute timing logic with high precision (± 0.1% accuracy).
The device functions in two primary modes:
Sequential Mode: The timer switches the 15 loads in a specific order (Channel 1 → 2 → … 15). For each channel, you program a DLY (Delay/Open) time and an ON (Closed) time.
Combination Mode: This is where the device acts more like a mini-PLC. Instead of a linear sequence, you can program up to 8 different combinations per channel. This allows multiple outputs to trigger simultaneously or in overlapping patterns.
Key “Valiant” Features
Dual Mode Versatility: You can toggle between Sequential and Combination modes via a simple front-panel switch.
Massive Time Range: Supports intervals from 100ms all the way up to 99 hours and 59 minutes.
Non-Volatile Memory (HOLD Feature): If power is lost, the device can “memorize” exactly where it was in the cycle and resume from that specific millisecond once power returns.
Cascade Capability: Multiple TK-415 units can be linked together. For example, connecting two units gives you a 30-channel control system.
External Control Inputs: Dedicated terminals for Start, Pause, and Looping (Cyclic vs. One-shot execution).
PC Integration: Includes an RS-232 port, allowing you to program complex schedules via free PC software rather than clicking through the 7-segment LED menu.

The “TK-415 Advantage”: Most industrial timers are single-purpose; if you buy a sequential timer for a dust collector and later need a combination timer for a complex conveyor system, you have to buy new hardware. The TK-415 is designed to be future-proof by providing both functionalities in one DIN-rail mounted box.
Common Applications
Dust Collection Systems: Pulsing solenoid valves in sequence.
